Homey listing has room types fields to describe the kind of room for sale. You can create different room types based on your needs, for example, you can assign the type Private room or Shared Room to a listing.
How to create a new Room Type
Navigate to Listings > Room Type in your left sidebar.
- Name: insert the name for your room type like “Private Room” for example.
- Slug: The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens (optional)
- Parent Category: select parent room type if needed. Usually, you don’t need to do it.
- Other Settings
- Image: Upload an image that can describe your property type. This image will be used on the Grid Module
- Click on Add New
